  • NEW THIS YEAR- WorkBoat West. A brand-new free educational program designed for shipyards, vessel owner-operators, and other commercial marine stakeholders. The WorkBoat Show propels the industry forward by bringing together the most important stakeholders in the commercial marine market each fall in New Orleans; WorkBoat West will bring a piece of that best-in-class maritime tradition to Seattle.

Our exhibitors are multiplying quickly, the special events and networking opportunities are second to none, and the free education program will showcase what’s new, what you need to know, and what has happened within commercial fisheries over the past year.” Said Bob Callahan, event director and group vice president of Diversified Communications. “The Pacific Marine Expo and National Fisherman team has focused on propelling the industry forward for this year's show, and there is so much to look forward to with special events and the addition of WorkBoat West.”

A maritime industry tradition of the International WorkBoat Show (IWBS) comes to Seattle for the first time, called WorkBoat West. This new free educational program is designed for shipyards, vessel owner-operators, and commercial marine stakeholders. “We are excited to bring a piece of WorkBoat out west and interact more with commercial fishermen. There is so much crossover between the two worlds, and we look forward to exploring that connection in Seattle,” shared Ben Hayden, content specialist for WorkBoat magazine.

The IWBS is an essential event for the maritime industry that draws professionals worldwide to showcase innovations, share insights, and make industry connections. Bringing a piece of the show to PME will help connect you to the remarkable commercial marine industry.

Last year, the expo attracted over 5000 industry specialists and more than 30 industry speakers during the free Expo Education Program curated by National Fisherman. Attendees explored a full exhibit floor filled with over 350 exhibitors while enjoying special events and free happy hours. PME has been held in Seattle for over 50 years, bringing together commercial fishermen from every coast.

"The Pacific Marine Expo brings together the best companies that serve fishing boats, the tirelessly working fishermen, and the people working on the docks,” said Carli Stewart, content specialist for National Fisherman. “Meeting industry connections at the show is invaluable, and the speakers we have lined up for the free education program cover all things commercial fishing.”

Join your community in Seattle this fall to connect with industry experts, vendors, and speakers. Commercial mariners from all U.S. coasts will be in attendance. Companies interested in exhibiting at PME should contact Kristin Luke, national sales manager, at 207.842.5635 or [email protected]
